The Feodosia-based “Mоре” Shipyard currently operates at over 50% capacity, as confirmed by Crimean authorities. This increase in production capabilities correlates with the signing of new contracts and ongoing efforts to complete existing orders. The workforce stands at 390 employees, indicating a focus on expanding operational efficiency. The shipyard is set to engage in additional contracts for the construction of rescue tugboats, as designated by the Russian Ministry of Transport, positioning “Mоре” as the sole contractor. Furthermore, collaboration with the United Shipbuilding Corporation (OSK) is underway, which includes investments aimed at modernizing the shipyard’s launch and lift systems. Presently, “Mоре” has initiated the construction of four “Kotlin” class excursion vessels for operations in the Neva River and Gulf of Finland. Established in 1938, the facility has a legacy of producing torpedo boats and amphibious ships and possesses capabilities in constructing lightweight vessels from aluminum and composite materials. With the capacity to process up to 3,000 tons of metal and 1,500 tons of aluminum annually, “Mоре” is positioned strategically for growth within the defense and commercial maritime sectors. The ongoing enhancements reflect a commitment to increasing both production and technological advancement in the region.
