This next-generation tank will feature four launch systems for the Switchblade 300, allowing crew members to deploy these drones to loiter over target areas before executing an attack. The design prioritizes defensive measures as well, incorporating the Trophy active protection system (APS), capable of neutralizing incoming suicide drones with a burst of intercepting projectiles. Unveiled as a prototype in 2022, the AbramsX is also expected to include an unmanned turret, an automated loading mechanism, and a hybrid engine.
