The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that a peace agreement with Azerbaijan is ready for signing, with Erevān prepared to initiate consultations regarding the timing and location of the signing. Following diplomatic communication, Armenia has accepted Azerbaijan’s proposals concerning two outstanding articles of the agreement, namely the clauses on refraining from mutual claims in international courts and the non-deployment of third-party forces along the border. As of now, 15 out of the 17 articles have been agreed upon, marking a significant advancement in negotiations. Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, announced the completion of discussions and highlighted Armenia’s acceptance of the last two contentious points. This culmination of talks is pivotal as it could pave the way for long-term stability in the region and resolve longstanding hostilities between the two nations.
