A heavy transport unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) designed to operate as a carrier for FPV drones is currently under development in Krasnoyarsk. According to Viktor Surovtsev, CEO of RuAvia, the project aims to establish the design and production of this aircraft equipped with internal combustion engines, with a focus on achieving a localization level of at least 80%. The development process is nearing completion, with the design documentation set to finalize shortly. Surovtsev indicated that testing and production of the prototype are scheduled for September 2023. This UAV’s capabilities are particularly relevant for special military operations, providing significant operational flexibility and enhanced mission scope.
