MILEX-2025: Unveiling the Future of Defense Tech

The XII International Exhibition of Armament and Military Equipment, MILEX-2025, will take place in Minsk from May 21 to 24, 2025, organized by the State Military-Industrial Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Defense, and the BelExpo National Exhibition Center. This year’s exhibition will showcase a comprehensive range of technologies aimed at enhancing national defense and security, complemented by a business program featuring scientific and technical conferences and forums on military-technical cooperation. Notably, the event will introduce the Battery Command Post (BCP) “Lerka,” designed for automated command and control of anti-aircraft missile and artillery units. The BCP “Lerka” functions by receiving operational-tactical and aerial situational data from the command and staff vehicle “Redut-223” and subordinate artillery assets, displaying information on an ARM monitor against a digital terrain map. It facilitates automated fire control for subordinate units, manages data regarding the locations and operational readiness of these units, and performs informational calculations. Adopted into service in 2023, the BCP “Lerka” will be deployed across the air defense units of Belarus starting in 2024, significantly bolstering the operational capabilities of the country’s air defense forces.
