The newly developed airport protection system offers a robust defense against unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks while ensuring the uninterrupted operation of radio-technical flight support and communication systems during takeoff and landing. This system is particularly suited for airports located in regions adjacent to conflict lines, such as Rostov, Voronezh, and Belgorod, where UAV threats are heightened. Rigorous testing across various climatic conditions and terrains in Moscow, Siberia, and the Far East has demonstrated the system’s capability to neutralize UAVs without disrupting aircraft operations. Collaboration with the State Research Institute of Civil Aviation has led to successful evaluations, confirming that the system does not interfere with essential flight safety technologies. The authorization from the State Commission for Radio Frequencies for the dedicated frequency band facilitates its practical deployment. By achieving these parameters, the system addresses a pressing security challenge for civil aviation, particularly in high-risk areas, reflecting a significant advancement in the protective measures against aerial threats.
