UkrArmoTech has unveiled the UAT.GYURZA-02, a 4×4 armored combat vehicle, at IDEX 2025 in Abu Dhabi. This upgraded version of the original “Gyurza” features ballistic protection rated at levels 2 and 3 according to STANAG 4569, capable of withstanding hits from 7.62×39 mm and 7.62×54 mm rounds. The vehicle’s enhanced V-shaped hull offers mine protection against blasts of up to 8 kg (STANAG level 3). Powered by a 6.7-liter Cummins ISDe turbocharged diesel engine, it delivers 385 hp and a top speed of 110 km/h, with a combat weight of approximately 14,000 kg. It includes a 6-speed automatic transmission (Allison 3000), independent suspension, and a centralized tire pressure monitoring system with RUN-FLAT tires. The UAT.GYURZA-02 is equipped with drone countermeasures and a REB suite operating in the 150–1030 MHz range, as well as additional protective screens against cumulative ammunition. It can deploy the FlyOff drone detection system effective up to 1.5 km. Armed with a 12.7 mm M2 Browning machine gun, the remote-controlled turret incorporates advanced targeting systems and night vision capabilities, while a multi-sensor surveillance system features 360° coverage, artificial intelligence integration, and augmented reality for battlefield monitoring. With a capacity for up to 11 personnel, the vehicle is designed based on combat feedback and emphasizes enhanced protection, crew comfort, and modular adaptability. The introduction of the UAT.GYURZA-02 signifies a strategic advancement in armored vehicle technology, aimed at addressing modern battlefield challenges effectively.
